The annual T-BUG Conference is a unique opportunity for Blackboard users to discover, discuss, learn, and share best practices in using the Blackboard learning management system. This year's conference will be held October 21-23, 2010 in Abilene at Hardin-Simmons University. See the CALL FOR PROPOSALS

"Blazin' New Trails on the Blackboard Frontier"

Join us at Frontier Texas! for the adventure of a century or the "Century of Adventure" as they call it! For technology-minded folk (like us T-Bugs) and for history buffs (surely some of us T-Bugs!), Frontier Texas! offers a look at the history of the West Texas frontier through an innovative use of technology, including holograms! Join us Friday night for a dang good BBQ dinner and mighty fine entertainment!  We might even get y'all out there on the dance floor for the Two-Step!

Dinner is included in registration and entrance to the museum is offered by the Abilene Visitor and Convention Bureau.

Abilene, Texas was established by cattlemen as a stock shipping point on the Texas and Pacific Railway in 1881, the city was named after Abilene, Kansas, the original endpoint for the Chisholm Trail. The cornerstone was laid for the first of three future universities in Abilene, called Simmons College, in 1891, which later became Hardin-Simmons University.
